Assesments products

OFFI® Reviews exclusively uses Expert assesments to rate products. This assesses products for office or learning environments in eight different sub-areas:
quality installation and guarantee laws and regulations ergonomics design innovation environment price

Methods

An Expert rating product is carried out in accordance with the international standard ISO 19011 ‘Guidelines for conducting audits of management systems’ with its own product-specific developed test methods for office products, where OFFI Test initiates an Expert rating for a product depending on up-to-dateness and necessity. The number of Expert ratings for a given product and the intervening period or periods is also determined exclusively by OFFI Test. This ensures that the product manufacturer cannot prepare for an audit or contact with auditors which results in reliable data.

Reporting

Every Expert rating for the assessment of a product is always carried out in the same standardised manner. Only the frequency, whether ad hoc or continuous with sampling, and the reporting of this differ. The diagram below shows the differences.

To make products that are continuously positively assessed immediately recognisable even without viewing the ratings, they may use 'OFFI® audited PRODUCT' logo.
Only adequately rated products receive a distinctive logo where the value of the ratings together determine the level the product achieves. As an additional requirement: no scope can be rated lower than a 6. For a average score higher than 6, the logo with ‘bronze’, for higher than 7 with ‘silver’ and for 8 or higher with ‘gold’.
